Welcome to Marysville Rotary
District 5710   •   Club 1624

Marysville Rotary is a service club organization in Marysville, Kansas; a member of Rotary International. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color or creed. We currently have 49 members, known as Rotarians.

The purpose of our organization is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. We meet on Mondays at 12:00 noon at Pony Espresso Deli in downtown Marysville.  It is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work on our service goals.

Rotary's motto is "Service above Self.

A Message from our President, Marilyn Wullschleger

In Scotland, we have a saying that I’m fond of quoting: “We must look beyond our own village pump.” It means that we must look beyond our own home and our own community. We must be aware that ours is only one community, of one country, of the many communities and countries in this world.

In every one of those communities, there is work to be done. As Rotarians, we will not stand idly by. As Rotarians, we will accept our responsibility. We can, and we must. For we know that Rotary is only as great as its clubs – and our clubs are only as great as the members within them.

Linda Weber is looking for some volunteers to read at the local elementary schools (MES, St. Gregory’s, Good Shepard).  If you are interested, please contact her. What a wonderful way to encourage the kindergarten students in our area!
